When Lenny Zenith was looking for labels to release the first full-length album under his own name, he opted to release it himself to maintain better control of distribution, publicity and sales. Upon discussing it with friend, bandmate and producer/engineer James Pertusi, they decided to create a label together in hopes of providing a platform for other artists as well (especially but not exclusively trans, nonbinary, etc.).
XYYX Records is the fulfillment of that dream and is looking forward to finding and supporting new artists with a portion of all proceeds going to transgender and LGBTQIA-supportive organizations.
